OUR CAMPS
BLUEPRINT BASKETBALL
Blueprint Basketball Camp is a one-week session designed to enhance players' mental and physical game through high-level basketball instruction and off-court teachings.
Directed by Cushing Academy's Head Boys Basketball Coach, Blueprint instills key concepts necessary for student-athletes to ascend successfully to and beyond the next level.
These concepts include: teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, leadership and hard-work, with an emphasis on proper on-court fundamentals and competitive greatness.
By focusing on individual player development, Blueprint maximizes the opportunity for growth for each individual athlete.

MEET COACH CORMIER
MENTORED BY NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED COACH JOHN CARROLL
After 4 years, Coach Cormier began his coaching career in New Jersey at D3 Rutgers-Newark where he helped the program reach the D3 NCAA tournament. He then joined John Carroll, legendary prep school coach at Northfield Mount Hermon School and helped them to the National semifinals in 2014.
FROM 3-SPORT ALL-TEAM CAPTAIN TO COLLEGE BASKETBALL
Coach James Cormier, a former 3 sport athlete in Football, Basketball and Baseball, captained all 3 teams at Proctor Academy. He went on to play basketball collegiately at LeMoyne College (D2) in Syracuse, NY where he started as a Freshman and earned captain as a Senior.
DEVELOPED BACK-TO-BACK IVY LEAGUE ROOKIES OF THE YEAR
Coach Cormier then pursued his dream of working at the D1 college level, joining his father’s staff (Paul Cormier) at Dartmouth College. At Dartmouth, Coach was in charge of player development and helped lead the team to its first postseason appearance in 56 years. In addition to player development, Coach was instrumental in recruiting back-to-back Ivy League Rookies of the year. After a 2 year stint at Dartmouth, JC pursued the Head Coach position at Cushing Academy.
CUSHING ACADEMY HEAD COACH & CLASS AA COACH OF THE YEAR
Since then he has accumulated over 125 wins in 5 seasons with a winning percentage of almost .800. Cushing has played one of the most competitive prep schedules in the country and in the last 6 years, they have qualified for the National Prep Championship 3 times. This includes the top 12-16 teams in the country competing for the National crown.
PRODUCED 30+ COLLEGE & PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS
During his 6 year run at Cushing Academy, Coach Cormier has recruited and coached over 15 Division 1 players and helped place over 30 student-athletes at the college level.
